How do I sign up to use the MPCP Patient Portal?
A) MPCP only allows a patient to subscribe to the portal through invitations sent out to
the patient from patientservices@medfusion.net. A patient must have a valid email
address on file with the practice, and have recently been seen by one of our providers.
For example, if a patient has an upcoming appointment, the invitation will go out within
24 hours after that patient’s appointment.

What can I do or see on the MPCP Patient Portal?
A) Currently a patient can communicate with the office for appointment requests and
prescription refills. The office will electronically send lab letters, referrals, visit receipts,
education material and clinical summaries once the patient is registered.

How long is the invitation valid?
A) Once a patient receives an invitation, it expires after 30 days. If a patient does not
signup right away, the Patient Portal will send two additional reminders – one after 10
days, and another after 20 days.

What should I do if I missed the invitation?
A) Every 90 days after the first invitation, the Patient Portal will send out a new
invitation to the patient. If you do not wish to wait, please check your inbox for the
previous email you were sent, and sign up using that email. However, if that email is
over 30 days old, then email PatientPortal@mpcp.com to request that a new invitation be
sent.

What if I do not want to use the Patient Portal, and wish to stop future invitations
from being sent?

A) Call the MPCP office at which you are seen and tell them that you wish to opt out of
the Patient Portal. The office will set your status to stop the invitation emails, and also
stop sending your information to the Portal.

How can I sign into the Patient Portal?
A) Go here. Or select “Patient Portal Sign In” under Patient Portal in the menu on mpcp.com.

What if I’ve forgotten my UserID to login into the Portal?
A) When you go to login to the Patient Portal, click on the Forgot Your User ID under
the User ID field. The portal will ask you to enter in the your email address, and then ask
you for your date of birth and the security question you entered when you signed up. If
correct, it will email you the User ID.

What if I forgot my Password for the Portal?
A) When you go to login to the Patient Portal, click on the Forgot Your Password link
under Password. This will ask you to enter in the email address with which you
registered and then it will ask you the security question you entered when you signed up
for the portal.

Can I use the Smart Phone app called MedFusion Mobile?
A) At this time it is not recommended that you use this application, as it contains several
bugs;, and most users will receive a message that the site is undergoing system
maintenance. Instead, please log into the Patient Portal through the MPCP website at
mpcp.com. We will communicate to all Portal users when the Smart Phone app
(MedFusion Mobile) is ready for patient use.
