When you come to the office for your first appointment after October 1st, you will be asked to fill out new demographic and HIPAA paperwork as well as to scan your ID and insurance cards. This will ensure that your information is current and correct in our new Electronic Health Records system Epic. This additional paperwork may extend your check-in time, so we encourage you to complete the registration paperwork that can be found on our website’s Locations page of the office at which you are seen: “New Patient Information Sheet” under Patient Information/Forms/General before your appointment to help speed up this process.
Initially, we must gather more information to enter into the new Epic system from patients when they call, which may result in longer hold times. We apologize if you have been affected by these delays and hope the process will smooth out soon.
The excellent care and service we provide to you is not changing. It is just taking a little longer at first until we are up to speed on the new, more powerful and advanced system.
Saturday, April 28 – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
If you have prescription medications that you are no longer taking, be sure to dispose of them at a collection site near you. The sites are located across Maryland and are not affiliated with MPCP.
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
