Lawanda joined Maryland Primary Care Physicians as the Practice Manager of the Glen Burnie office in 2026. She began her career in healthcare as a Medical Assistant after graduating from a vocational high school. She has worked in many different healthcare organizations over the years, eventually finding her niche in Internal Medicine. Lawanda credits her mother, a nurse in residential treatment for elderly patients, for inspiring her career.
