COVID-19 Vaccination | A letter from Michael Riebman, M.D., President of MPCP

To Our Patients,

This past year has been hard on all of us. All of our MPCP staff and providers’ hearts go out to everyone, but especially those who have lost a friend or loved one to the disease. It has been difficult being unable to visit those in long term care, missing out on time with children and grandchildren, weddings, graduations, time with friends, and so many other important events. We are proud to have been here for you from the beginning of the pandemic and hope that in some way we have helped you over the past year. We assure you we will continue to be here as we move ahead in 2021. Together we look forward to a better 2021.

As we near the end of 2020 there is hope on the horizon in the form of a vaccine.  Many of you have contacted our offices requesting information on receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.  With events rapidly unfolding about the vaccine, the most up-to-date information can be found on the University of Maryland Medical System and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) websites.

As new data becomes available, we will do our best to keep you updated.

On behalf of the entire MPCP staff I want to wish you a happier and healthier New Year.

Michael S. Riebman, MD
