Dr. Graham-Brock joined Maryland Primary Care Physicians in 2026 and practices out of the Bowie office. She’s dedicated to caring for the whole person – mind and body – and approaches medicine with compassion and a deep commitment to partnership with every patient she serves. She describes, “Equally important was my commitment to equity and inclusion. I saw the path where I could reach and serve people across all backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, class, or gender – and help bridge gaps in access, understanding, and trust within healthcare.”

A Career Rooted in Curiosity and Purpose

Dr. Graham-Brock’s path to medicine began in first grade, when a teacher asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up. She answered that she wanted to become a teacher, too, but her teacher paused and asked, “What about a doctor?” That single question sparked a curiosity that never left her. “I was drawn to medicine because it offered a rare convergence of my core interests: teaching, science inquiry, innovative thinking, and the opportunity to care for both the mind and the body.” Primary care, she explains, “serves as the front line of medicine and a longitudinal partnership with patients allowing for a comprehensive understanding of their lives, health behaviors and medical needs.”

Dr. Graham-Brock’s Approach to Primary Care

Grounded in Humility: A mentor once told her that excellence in medicine isn’t measured by how much you know, but by how effectively you apply that knowledge with compassion and humility. She shares, “Knowledge alone is not enough; what matters is how that knowledge is translated into compassionate and equitable care for each individual patient.”

Honesty and Presence: “There are moments in medicine when the most meaningful thing you can say is ‘I do not know, but I will stand by you while we find out.’ That commitment to partnership, grounded in humility and continuous learning, is a principle that has stayed with me and continues to guide my practice.”

Present for the Entire Journey: “Watching the cycles of Life happen in real time and being present for all of it.”

The Golden Rule: Dr. Graham-Brock shares her one-sentence philosophy to care: “Do to others as you would have them do to you.”
