MPCP Lab Scores 2nd Consecutive 100% on COLA Survey
On Friday November 13, 2009 the Maryland Primary Care Physicians Central Lab received its 2nd consecutive perfect score on a bi-annual accreditation survey performed by COLA (Committee on Laboratory Accreditation). This nonprofit, physician-directed organization promotes quality and excellence in medicine and patient care through programs of voluntary education, achievement, and accreditation.
The MPCP Central Lab met all criteria for Laboratory Accreditation by COLA with no deficiencies. Our emphasis on quality leads to reliable test results, which are essential in assuring excellence in patient care. Kudos to our Lab staff for its dedication to and continued support of the highest possible standards of excellence!
COLA is approved by the federal government and sponsored by the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians – American Society of Internal Medicine, and the American Osteopathic Association.
